Major League Lacrosse has announced a press conference for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Wake Med Soccer Park (formerly SAS Soccer Park).
It’s being billed as “an important announcement concerning Major League Lacrosse.” On hand will be Chris Economides, President and GM, Carolina RailHawks, Brian Wellman, AGM, Carolina RailHawks, David Gross, Commissioner, Major League Lacrosse and Brian “Doc†Daugherty, Goaltender, Philadelphia Barrage.

P.S. Duke opens tomorrow at 1 p.m. against 17th-ranked Bucknell.
UPDATE: WRAL is reporting that the MLL will play a game here in June to help assess this as an expansion market. The Philadelphia Barrage will play the Rochester Rattlers on June 21 at WakeMed Soccer Park.
