For the last few years, there has been a push for the creation of a United States Public Service Academy — a bureaucratic counterpart to the military academies. It would be another waste of taxpayer money since we already have an overabundance of colleges and college graduates and government would not be improved one iota by having some employees go through (fully subsidized) a liberal arts college for would-be bureaucrats.
