Take a look at the dust-up between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the city of Jax over signage in the city-owned stadium. Actually it is over who gets the money from the signage, the city or the team, with about $10 million in the balance.
It is now down to the Jags owner meeting face-to-face with the mayor on the issue with rumblings that the team will move (LA?) if it cannot get a better deal. As it stands the team has lagging ticket sales and the city is out $200,000 they paid to some “naming rights” consulant. Makes you feel good about the Panthers owning their own building.
