As the health care debate chugs along, it is apparent that they do not have the votes to pass the current bill ? even with the new language. Could all of the arm-twisting be needed because the holdouts and others realize that this takeover of the health care system is intrinsically wrong for our country?
The public has made it clear that senators and congressmen voting for this bill will find themselves out of a job in November. But the media is reporting that if these individuals are voted out of office, their yes vote will be rewarded with ambassadorships and other appointed government positions. Once again, we see the arrogance of our President and elected officials. Why do these individuals think that they should be on the government payroll for life? They need to go get a job in the real world and help pay for all of the debt this country is amassing under their watch. More reason for term limits!
