This time board chairman Graham Denton, last seen swearing up and down that Gloria Pace King’s compensation package was totally legit and proper — right before the board voted unanimously to fire her.
Denton’s out, in is Mac Everett’s hand-picked man, Wachovia (shock!) exec Carlos Evans. Maybe Evans can shore up and prune the UW’s huge board, but the immediate threat remains King suing the charity for millions in a wrongful termination suit.
Nothing new on that front.
