The N.C. General Assembly returns to work Wednesday for a brief organizational session before starting work in earnest later in January. As lawmakers prepare to return to Raleigh, the John Locke Foundation’s Becki Gray offered the Shaftesbury Society an overview of recent legislative reforms and a preview of issues of interest to JLF in 2015.

In the video clip below, Gray mentions the new First in Freedom initiative, which will help lawmakers and taxpayers determine whether proposed legislation will lead to good or bad results for North Carolina.
