The proponents of raising the minimum wage, that is, and in this column, Sheldon Richman asks if those who demand a higher minimum wage (which is to say, making it illegal to employ anyone for less than the government dictates is “fair”) can be so ignorant of economic realities that they want it.
I’d say that some really are ignorant. They’ll just to along with anything their cult leader Obama says he wants. Others, including the Dear Leader himself, are poseurs. They know that tricks like this win them favor with naive voters and distract the same people from the serious damage Obama’s agenda is doing.
