Quite right. Teachers and professors often devote time to regaling captive students with their views on what’s wrong with the world, overwhelmingly to create the impression that we need more coercion by government. Consequently, we have large numbers of young Americans who can hector you all day about “social justice” and the need to save the planet, but can’t do simple arithmetic and have no idea when the Revolutionary War took place.

And yet, the cost of this “education” keeps going up and up.
