Michael, this “service” Obama speaks of is just a way to get involuntary servitude to ACORN and a host of other leftist activist groups, given that involuntarily “volunteering” for work in such nonprofits will constitue “community service.”
Considered along with the Give-a-Union-Thug-Access-to-Your-Union-Preference-for-More-Efficient-Family-Threat-Making card-check bill by whatever Orwellian name it’s given (“Freedom is slavery” indeed), which would give unions control over many more workers’ wages and thereby enrich the Democrats more involuntary contributions, and a major socialist entrenchment is underway.
