In discussing his fear that Democratic infighting will help Republicans win the presidential election, liberal columnist Michael Kinsley admits in the latest TIME:

The hatred of George W. Bush on the left ? and the eagerness to see him gone ? is at this point as extreme as anything the right has to offer. (I know this because I share it.)

Perhaps intellectual honesty is another side effect of Kinsley’s brain surgery.  

If only Kinsley?s colleagues would admit that they feel the same way (and have felt the same for nearly eight years), readers would have an easier time treating media reports with the proper degree of skepticism.
