Superintendent of Public Instruction June Atkinson refuses to step aside silently, as I suspect Governor Perdue thought she would. The elected official the governor calls an “ambassador” for education says she may sue to get clarification on who really has power over the state’s education policy.
As I’ve blogged previously, a man wouldn’t stand for this treatment. A woman shouldn’t either.
