Lowry worries that this will become ingrained in an Obama administration as they endeavor to cement political advantages in place. I think his worries are well founded. Early in his presidency, Bill Clinton had his folks harassing groups like Heritage and Cato; I suspect that the far more militant MoveOn types likely to inhabit an Obama administration would make the Clintonistas look meek in comparison.
