According to the Watauga Democrat, the Boone Police Department held a demonstration. Policemen wearing (only?) electric guitars made 100 db of noise.
“It’s loud,” said Pilar Fotta, Downtown Boone Development Association director. “That is loud.”
Then, town council members went outside while the “guitar clad” officers stayed inside and generated sounds amplified to 107 db.
“Wow, it’s cold,” Mayor Loretta Clawson said.
