Yesterday the price of gas (regular) at most of the pumps in Fuquay-Varina fell from $2.69/gal. to $2.59/gal. during the time it took my family to attend church and eat lunch. This morning the lowest-priced stations on my commute in Raleigh were at $2.85/gal. That’s a huge difference ? 26 cents a gallon ? just for traveling 14 miles on Hwy. 401!
So, will some “liberal” who knows the True Price of gas and isn’t afraid to have the government enforce it please tell me which group of stations are at fault and should be sued? Should:
? the Raleigh stations be sued by consumers for “price gouging”?
? OR ?
? the Fuquay-Varina stations be sued by the Raleigh stations for unfair competition through “predatory pricing”?
Many thanks.
