Now faces Ticketbastard…er, Ticketmaster in the semi-finals!

The folks over at The Consumerist — the net front-end owned by Consumer Reports — have been pitting companies against each other in a search for the Worst Company in America 2010. Bank of America won the award in 2008, but lost in the Final Four last year to the totally abusive operation known as Comcast. (Bailout mavens AIG took the title last year, however.)

Interestingly AIG was taken out in the first round this year by cable TV ad staple Cash4Gold. This proved no fluke as Cash4Gold went on to top Best Buy and then PayPal and now faces Comcast for the right to face Ticketbastard…er, Ticketmaster or Bank of America in the finals.
