FrontPage magazine recently wrote on the Pope Center for Higher Education’s pick for the Course of the Month.  The monthly selection is chosen for it’s complete disregard for the standards of higher education.  This month’s course, “Canine Cultural Studies” at UNC-Chapel Hill, is laughable. Also snort-worthy is Wilmington’s planned convention center. On 106.3 “The Big Talker” during Curtis Wright’s show in the morning, Chad Adams urged residents and officials in the area to take a stand against the center, which is currently on life support as it awaits a legislative decision on a harebrained funding schemeMichael Senara recently joined in on the debate on WECT TV6. Michael’s wherewithal concerning convention center growth in the state, landed him an interview with the Asheville Tribune.  Although the city is still leaning towards expanding the facility (some way, some how), Michael still recommends they sell the aging civic center.
