The thing that gets me is that you know that if Red Oak Brewery were to seed, oh, $8000 to the right members of the General Assembly and ask for $100,000 to $500,000 in taxpayer subsidies to “create jobs” — it would get it. No questions asked.
But to remove an anti-competitive barrier to entry — why, that is just damn impossible given our kleptocracy.
