It seems there are a lot of situations that fit well into the Cheese commercials
that always started out: “The Power of Cheese.”  In American
Interest, John Kornblum writes about Reagan’s 1987 speech at the Brandenburg
Gate in

Berlin,
after all it is the twentieth anniversary of the speech on June 12.

?Freedom leads to prosperity. Freedom replaces the
ancient hatreds among the nations with comity and peace.  Freedom is the Victor…..For we believe that freedom and
security go together, that the advance of human liberty can
only strengthen the cause of world peace….General Secretary Gorbachev, if you
seek peace….if you seek  liberalization: Come here to this gate.  Mr. Gorbachev, open this gate, Mr. Gorbachev, tear
down this wall!”

So just how powerful is Freedom?  The Wall came Tumbling Down.
