Now that Mayor Pat’s need for positive PR is gone, maybe the city of Charlotte will be more forthcoming about its looming budget crisis. Raleigh officials are clearly bracing for a major revenue hit while Charlotte has thus far tip-toed into the possibility of an end to the go-go days of ever-increasing revenue.
Maybe we can get a federal bailout. That certainly seems to the be the operating plan for CATS’ future rail plans.
