To further erode the middle class, Hendersonville City Council waived $227,640 in fees for Oklawaha Village, a proposed affordable housing project. The fees would have addressed costs of extending water and sewer service. Then, paying no heed to the birds and the bees who elected them, the council approved only a rezoning for another low-income housing project, Signal Ridge. A public common tater objected to this one, as it would surely force relocation of several wildlife families.
