Nick Arama writes at RedState.com about the messages Joe Biden’s team is sending to campaign staffers.

One of the problems with Joe Biden has always been is that he doesn’t live in reality.

He makes up things that aren’t true, in order to pander to audiences or to pump himself up.

He verbally attacks people who dare to challenge him, He often responds with lies.

But that not living in reality has carried over to his team and his family, I think, when it comes to the present situation that he’s in, as top Democrats engage in an effort to shove him out.

Meanwhile, the leaks about what’s going on behind the scenes continue. The campaign had an “all staff call” on Friday to try to pump up the troops, as Matt Vespa at our sister site Townhall reported. The gist of the call? Don’t listen to the news.

“Don’t watch cable news all the time,” campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon allegedly told the staff at the campaign and the Democratic National Committee. (emphasis added)

“That is not the real world. The real world is the voters that are standing with us, the delegates that are with us, and we’re going to weather this because of this organization.”

What they’re saying: O’Malley Dillon reiterated to staff that Biden is “in this race” and “in it to win it.” …

… Wow. And you wonder why Biden, whenever he’s confronted by polls, denies them? This is the attitude of the campaign in general, too. They’re just putting their heads in the sand, pretending there isn’t a big move to get him out, that they can just count on the support of voters. Or at least, that’s what they’re trying to sell the campaign staff at this point. People are leaking right and left to keep up the pressure on the Biden team. The people who claim to care about democracy are ripped all asunder because their own side wants to go around what the voters in the primary did.
