Vice President Joe Biden says Congress might have health-care reform done by Thanksgiving:
“I believe we will have a bill,” Biden said. “I’ve been in the Congress for a very long time, eight presidents. I believe we will have a bill before Thanksgiving.”
OK. But the vice president isn’t exactly known for his ability to channel Nostradamus.
Remember his “October surprise” a few weeks before the election? At a fundraiser in Seattle, Biden warned a crowd of supporters that America would face ?an international crisis, a generated crisis? within the first six months of Obama?s administration ?to test the mettle of this guy.?
Unless he considers Obama’s do-nothing response to the Iran election protester purge this “international crisis,” Biden’s prediction was dead wrong.
