Perhaps reminiscent of the tide turning in the Democrat primary, the election futures speculators at InTrade are now beginning to place their bets more on Sen. John McCain to defeat Sen. Barack Obama in the November election for U.S. President. The Bid/Ask numbers right now essentially mean that they consider the race up for grabs, but this is the first time that McCain’s price has been higher than Obama’s. Their numbers (Bid/Ask):

McCain: 52.9 / 53.0
Obama: 46.1 / 47.9

By way of comparison, in mid-July Obama was at 64.8, while McCain was at only 31.1.
