The Uptown paper of record reports, “About a half-dozen CATS bus supporters held a rally Thursday afternoon…”
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Stop. A half-dozen? That’s not a rally. That’s not even a dinner party or a baseball team.
This “rally” was plugged the other day over at the leftie BlueNC blog by former Democratic county commission candidate Sam Spencer. Spencer cried “Save Our Buses” and rattled off the official city of Charlotte talking points against repealing the half-cent. You know, the world will end and the city will have no money.
Looks like that didn’t exactly move anyone. Not when your rally to “save buses” could easily fit in an SUV.
