Despite higher-than-expected revenues, state lawmakers will probably be running at a loss. Joe Coletti predicted as much last year.  With new demands on revenue adding up this year, if lawmakers aren’t fiscally responsible, we could be looking at even more of a problem. Joe provided his insight to ABC 11 and News 14. North Carolina teachers, who some view as getting a pretty lucrative pay package overall, may have the opportunity to earn more, depending on their skill and their place of employment.  It’s called differentiated pay.
