No big smoking gun, the way I see it, because Winston-Salem Dash owner Billy Prim’s $1,000 campaign contribution to Mayor Allen Joines’ campaign was made back in 2005. Joines now says he will return the contribution. Big whoop.
The question now — I know I keep repeating it over and over —- is whether or not anyone will step up and challenge Joines in the upcoming mayor’s race.
