Today the Diocese of Raleigh will install their new bishop, Michael Burbidge. From what I hear, Catholics in the Diocese are very pleased with Pope Benedict XVI’s
choice.
Bishop Burbidge holds a Doctorate in Education and Masters Degrees in
Theology and Education Administration, was a high school teacher, and
was the rector of a seminary in Philadelphia. Many of us expect him to
make education a central focus of his ministry.
