Alright. Let’s see if we can get anyone else in the state of North Carolina interested in the Jim Black legal defense fund. With a $1 million fine hanging over Black’s head the time has come to find out how much Black and his allies have raised in the past few months.
It could be $30,000, it could be $3 million. We have no idea. And that is the problem. We have no idea who has contributed. And that is the problem. We have no idea why they contributed. And that is the problem.
Yet the Uptown paper of record makes no mention of the fund when running down the possible sources of money for Black to use to pay the fine. Pretty much par for the course.
