It’s a slow news day, so I don’t care to take up space belaboring the point. In newspaper lingo, one expresses this by filling space with stories about upcoming agendas and police reports. One paper indicated the Buncombe County Commissioners discussed unrevealed economic development incentives for an unnamed company in closed session. Another paper has a nice, long article about how state agencies are getting all official about pretending they’re actually doing something by recommending what businesses should locate where and for what ends in Saluda. In other news sources, recipients of government aid are being poster-childed as potential victims of sequestration.
