Andy Clarkson does all the heavy lifting here, noting the evidence that variations in solar activity explain variations in the Earth’s climate much better than appeals to global warming. That’s right, maybe the Sun warms the Earth.
Of course reams of evidence does not seem to count for much on enviro issues, which turn on taking a position and sticking to it no matter what the evidence says. Local officials, for example, continue to downplay the good news about air quality and talk up grand plans for cleaning the “bad” air.
Let’s just try to stick to the facts no matter how much it might hurt.
