Instapundit linked to a Knoxville blogger who asked, “Where do laid-off journalists go?” Some, she found, are driving buses and working in liquor stores. One of her commenters had this to say:

If journalists know half of what they pretend to know when they’re working as journalists, they should have no problem getting jobs as climatologists, engineers, lawyers, and military consultants, to name a few professions.

Excellent. Interestingly, many said they were happier in their new jobs. Doesn’t surprise me a bit.
