The Cedar Post blog, which is tightly wired into the local law enforcement community, appears to be the target of a takedown order from a law firm representing a high ranking CMPD officer.
A September 21 letter citing material posted on the blog has been sent to several current or former CMPD officers, but oddly not to the website administrator. The letter, from attorney Derek Adler of DeVore, Acton, & Stafford, states that the blog has posted “longstanding untruths” about Maj. Veronica Foster and threatens legal action unless the posts are removed and “destroyed” by October 5th.
