The News & Observer reports that former 2nd District Congressman Bob Etheridge is considering another run for Congress following his 2010 defeat by Republican Renee Ellmers. According to the paper, Democrat Etheridge took this slap at N.C. Rep. David Lewis, a Republican, about newly drawn election maps that put Etheridge in the 4th district.
Etheridge said he asked state Rep. David Lewis, chairman of the House redistricting committee and a fellow Harnett County resident, about being moved out the district he had long represented. “He said he doesn’t know where I live,” Etheridge said. “It makes me wonder about his level of honesty or his intelligence.”
So much for the civility we hear so much about from the Left.
