Just a quick observation that the announced crowd of 14,872 — and shave a few thousand off of that as midweek no-shows — was the second smallest crowd in NBA Tuesday night, besting only the hapless Clippers’ visit to Minnesota, which drew 11K.
Wednesday night’s game against defending champion San Antonio and Tim Duncan should be a sellout for the Bobcats, but as yet is not. Duncan and the Spurs just drew over 21,000 in Chicago last night.
Gotta keep tabs on this stuff as city of Charlotte officials have already washed their hands of worrying about how the Bobcats are drawing.
