Not now, not even necessarily soon. But check out the aftermath of the Nets skipping off to Newark, en route to Brooklyn.

They’ve given up their territorial claim to New Jersey.

Is it crazy to think that NBA genius David Stern would prefer a team in Manhattan, a team in Brooklyn, and a team in Jersey to a chronically financially challenged outfit in Charlotte — with or without new owners? What if any new potential Bobcat ownership group is being assured by the league that the NBA will help them bail on CLT and land in a more favorable spot?

Just saying, stay tuned.

Bonus WTF: They are TIFing hockey in Arizona. You have been warned.
