Dropouts say they left school because it classes were not challenging.
They barely attended school in the year before dropping out and their
parents were not involved in their education. So do the authors of a
report with these findings suggest ways to get parents more involved,
enforce attendance, or offer more challenging courses? No. The
recommendations are a familiar list:

smaller class sizes, more individual instruction, a higher age requirement for dropping out and more real-world skills classes.
