Sen. Kay Hagan says the General Assembly shouldn’t be “the daily watchdog for artistic interpretation.”
She’s right. So the best way to avoid that role is for the state to quit subsidizing artistic interpretation, especially films that portray the rape of a 12-year-old supposedly with “great care and tact.”
