Government efforts to reduce childhood obesity in the United States are not working – and considering that parents and the rest of society are providing little help, that news should not surprise many of us.
The Associated Press reported last week that despite a billion dollars worth of government programs aimed at improving child nutrition, there’s been no progress in slowing the rapidly increasing rate of childhood obesity.
Big fat surprise.
