Count me among those who believe we should be discussing social issues rather than shoving them aside.
President Obama says he’s now “very comfortable” with young girls being able to walk into a store and buy a drug that could change their lives forever and which has serious moral and health implications — all without their parents even knowing it.
Obama previously said that all girls younger than 17 should have to get a prescription to purchase Plan B, lamenting the prospect of them buying the product “alongside bubble gum or batteries.”
It should not come as a shock that our society is in such trouble.
