John Edwards’s book promotion/presidential campaign/poverty patrol
tour took him last week to the annual dinner of the Service Employees
International Union in Los Angeles, where he endorsed a living wage law
for hotel employees near the airport. Next: an appearance at All Saints Church in Pasadena,
which is under investigation by the Internal Revenue Service for
activities during the 2004 election season, where Rev. George Regas has
preached antiwar sermons that have been critical of President Bush’s
policies.
