Demos, a lefty think tank in the U.K., says that the British education system should adjust its language requirements to reflect the idea that English has become not a language but a ?family of languages? that includes ?Hinglish? (a combination with Hindi), ?Chinglish? (a combination with Mandarin), and ?Singlish? (Chinglish with a dash of Malay). And if the proposal of elevating hybrids and slang terms into the formal school curriculum horrifies you, that just makes you a jungli haramzada.
