Here I go again, led by circumstances to wish great success to Gov. Mike Easley because, comparatively, his administration is making the best fiscal argument:
“The highest priority for the governor on taxes is to bring down the personal income tax rate,” [Dan] Gerlach told NCCBI’s annual legislative conference. “It is an outlier in the South. It is an outlier in the nation and it must come down.”
It?s about bloody time.
