Charlotte officials are tonite denying a report out of Kansas City that has the NASCAR Hall of Fame headed to that city. WCCB is running with a story originating with a KC sports talk radio station that has NASCAR bigwigs essentially horse trading the Hall site with Nextel Cup race locations. No confirmations, and only denials of that notion from NASCAR.
Me, I always thought Charlotte’s high airfares would sink its bid. Those race guys count every nickel, you know.
