OK, maybe she didn’t say that explicitly, but she did say that all the criticism of the RNC spending $150,000 on Sarah Palin’s wardrobe is a sexist double standard.

And The N&O this morning devoted an incredible 50 column inches (15 of those on the front page, highlight color added) to the story, this from a paper that has not mentioned a word (at least that I can find, and if they did they buried it pretty well) about Joe Biden’s prediction that an inexperienced President Obama would precipitate an international crisis by those who wish to test him.

More importantly, Biden said Obama’s handling of the crisis would not be popular with the American people and that he would plummet in the polls. Even media that have carried the story have left out that last bit. Here’s CNN’s Brown:

FORGOT TO MENTION: While the media are apoplectic over Palin’s $150,000 wardrobe, going completely unanalyzed and un-commented on is the unprecedented amount of money the Obama campaign is raising and spending on this election, including $150 million in September alone. There was a time when such millions would prompt stories about buying an election.
