Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams needs heart surgery. Is he waiting in queues at one of Canada’s single-payer national health hospitals? You know, the kind the Obama administration and congressional Democrats are so eager to install here?
Why, no, he’s coming to the USA for some quality health care:
CBC News confirmed Monday that Williams, 60, left the province earlier in the day and will have surgery later in the week.
The premier’s office provided few details, beyond confirming that he would have heart surgery and saying that it was not necessarily a routine procedure.
He better hurry before Reid, Pelosi and Obama give Americans the kind of health care the premier is running from in Canada.
UPDATE: It gets even better. Ezra Levant, who recently was railroaded by Canada’s PC police, points out that Williams is a typical lefty hypocrite, enthusiastically supporting socialism until it’s his butt that’s in a sling.
