In addition to its Tea Party coverage, Carolina Journal and its staffers attracted attention for other reasons this week. Rick Henderson participated in a water policy panel discussion at the Campbell University Law School. The Lincoln Tribune and N.C. Free Enterprise Foundation promoted David Bass’ exclusive on the N.C. House District 41 race. The Lincoln Tribune also picked up contributor Karen McMahan‘s article on state regulations that limit actions homeowners can take to rid their property of “pesky varmints.” Meanwhile, the Heartland Institute’s InfoTech & Telecom News highlighted McMahan’s work on North Carolina’s new click-through, or Amazon, tax. Creative Loafing‘s Tara Servatius also cited in a recent column CJ‘s work to highlight the negative impacts of North Carolina’s recent renewable-energy mandate.
