Bass wrote in The American Spectator about the scorecard and its impact for “Blue Dog” Democrats. Fellow CJ Associate Editor Sara Burrows attracted attention from the Lincoln Tribune, Tar Heel Tribune, Watchdog.org, N.C. Rumors, and PolitiFi.com for her report on the legal issues surrounding videotaping police officers. The Lincoln Tribune published Burrows’ report on the potential impact of Arizona’s new immigration law. The Lincoln Trbune and N.C. Senate Republicans picked up Video News Editor Anthony Greco‘s report on a new federal bailout of the state’s pension fund. The Heartland Institute’s Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate News published contributor Sarah Okeson‘s report on the impact of Build America Bonds. N.C.
