There have been two recent incidents
of individuals climbing over safety barriers at the Melbourne
Zoo.  First, a 9 year old boy was attacked by a leopard, and then
a woman was attacked by a young male lion.  She went over a safety
barrier to pick some flowers.  Much to her dismay, the little lion
ate the tip of her finger.  According to the lion, her finger
tasted a lot like chicken.

The zoo director is quoted as saying:

“It’s not a wise thing to do to climb over a safety barrier and collect a flower here at the zoo”

Well put.  Flower picking and man-eating carnivores never mix.

If either of these incidents took place in Melbourne, Florida, there would be lawsuits and a lot of cats out of work.
