MarketWise Research is again calling around Charlotte, this time specifically asking for middle-aged female respondents and asking lots of questions about the half-cent transit tax repeal.

Most interesting is the fact that the survey asks about the impact of Rob Tober’s retirement on respondents’ views of the half-cent repeal. Interesting assumption that it would matter one way or another — unless it is supposed to matter, was always supposed to matter.

Otherwise, lots of right track-wrong track questions, rank 1-10 how to spend transit dollars — bus, rail, or highways (!) — rate management and leadership, and a question on the $516 million CMS bond package.

If that is not the Chamber’s doing, I’ll go buy a pair of tassel loafers and wear them in public.
