It’s always humorous to watch the politically correct crowd rename events so they feel they’re being “inclusive.” With Christmas — uh, excuse me, holiday/winterfest events — behind us, the focus now turns to Easter egg hunts — uh, excuse me,  “community egg hunt” events. From Chapel Hill and Carrboro comes this:

The Annual Community Egg Hunt

Alas, even the politically correct event planners couldn’t figure out a way to completely remove references to Easter. Guess who the special guest is at the event? (emphasis is mine)

The Annual Community Egg Hunt is a free spring celebration for children 2 to 10 years of age. Activities will include an egg hunt, live entertainment, prizes, and a visit from the Easter Bunny!

What? You mean there’s no “Community Egg Hunt Bunny?” I’m shocked.
